Dr. Sitaram Velaga

Dr. Sitaram Velaga is a Pharma entrepreneur and seasoned pharmaceutical professional with over two decades of expertise in solid-state chemistry, solubilization technologies, and innovative dosage form development. He is Co-founder, President & CEO at Kenox Pharmaceuticals Inc, where he shapes the strategic vision driving the development of innovative medicines for unmet medical needs. During his tenure as Professor & Head of Pharmaceutics at Luleå University of Technology, he established a distinguished research program and has successfully executed over 20 research projects, building global collaborations and leading teams to successful outcomes.  He advised and supported several start-up and mid-size companies with drug development, market intelligence and regulatory services in advanced dosage forms.  

Dr. Velaga’s extensive contributions extend to expert consultancy in the EU and USA, providing his expertise in drug development, product portfolio, business development, fundraising and corporate strategy. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Uppsala University, Sweden.
