Dr Marie Fallon
Dr Fallon is the Chair or Palliative Medicine at St Columbia’s Hospice, also leads Edinburgh Palliative and Supportive Care group. Leads the largest portfolio of multi-center clinical trials in Palliative Care in the UK, specializing in symptoms, including cancer cachexia and cancer pain control; assessment and treatment, including both drug trials and complementary therapies.
Dr Fallon is a Professor of Palliative Medicine at Edinburgh University and a member of the grant committees for the CSO PhDships, the Melville Trust for the Care and Cure of Cancer, and the Columba Trust. Sits on Editorial Board of BMJ Supportive and Palliative Care and is a Co-Director of the European Palliative Care Research Centre, based in Oslo, Norway.
